Letchworth Renault and Dacia has opened on Icknield Way, Letchworth Garden City, near the A1. This is the first Renault showroom to be opened in the town in over a decade and is also the first time Letchworth Autoways is representing the brand.
The new facility represents a near half a million-pound investment by Letchworth Autoways, which has operated in the local area since 1974.
Paul Callis, Managing Director of the new site, said: “We are incredibly excited to be appointed representation for Renault in the home counties and proud that our facility is the first to feature the new‘R Renault corporate identity.
“With such an amazing and acclaimed model range to offer car buyers, we are certain that Renault vehicles will become even more of a familiar sight in the region.
“We are incredibly proud to be appointed to represent Dacia and fill the gap in the area. We are sure that the adventurous spirit of the brand, its practical designs and renowned value for money will appeal to plenty of people in the home counties.”
The new Renault retailer corporate identity includes semi-open offices, discussion tables and dedicated handover zones together with displays of vehicles and colour options.
The new site includes a showroom area for six Renault models and space for up to 100 approved used Renew vehicles. Full aftersales facilities are provided by an 11-bay workshop, which includes dedicated LCV ramps, and on-site 24/7 EV charging is available to the public.
The new retailer features the latest Dacia identity, with many of the showroom’s fixtures and fittings made from recycled materials. The star of the show(room) is Bigster – Dacia’s first C-segment SUV.
