Kia has revealed UK pricing and specifications for the EV4, starting from £34,695, with UK order books open from today and first customer deliveries due to start in the autumn.
The EV4 will be joined by an EV4 Fastback version. Following the example of the EV3, EV6 and EV9, Kia will offer a three-tier model lineup: Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S.
The EV4 Air is offered with a choice of 58.3kWh standard range or 81.4kWh long range battery packs.
It is said to travel up to 273 miles with the 58.3kWh version, or up to 388 miles on the larger 81.4kWh version.
The GT-Line variant is offered solely with the 81.4kWh long range battery pack, offering a stated range of 362 miles.
The top specification EV4 GT-Line S also comes with the 362-mile range battery pack.
The EV4 is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor applying 150kW (201bhp) and 283Nm torque through the front wheels.
The EV4 is able to charge from 10-to-80% in a stated 29 minutes (31 minutes for long range models) when plugged into a 350kW DC fast charger, and in just 5 hours and 20 minutes on an 11kW AC charger (7 hours and 15 minutes for models with the long range battery).
