Hyundai Motor UK named Best Place to Work 2024

Hyundai Motor UK has been recognised as one of the Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2024’, scoring over 75% in every single category.

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards survey uses 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey.

WorkL’s six-step framework includes Reward and Recognition, Instilling Pride, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing and Job Satisfaction

Hyundai scored 80% or more in the Wellbeing, Instilling Pride and Job Satisfaction sections and was rated Excellent for Diversity and Inclusion as well as Confidence in Management.

The survey also highlights the best workplaces across several categories, acknowledging companies that excel in supporting diverse groups, including women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, and both younger and older workers.

The report said: “Hyundai comes from the South Korean for modernity and the car company reflects this by fostering an environment of innovation, empowering its team of 208 in Leatherhead in Surrey to push boundaries and challenge convention.”
