HSBC UK provides funding for The Figaro Shop’s new service station

The Figaro Shop is expanding to include a service station catering to non-specialist cars in Thatcham, Berkshire, using a £1.66 million funding package from HSBC UK.

Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, the business specialises in repairing the classic car model Nissan Figaro. Now, the business has diversified its operations by offering services such as tyre fitting and MOT and car repair to non-specialist cars.

The company operates with a socially focused business model and has already created two new jobs in Thatcham and will hire further staff in the area.

An increase in turnover is expected by the business over the next 12 months, with annual profits expect to rise by 30%.

The Figaro Shop recently unveiled its new product line, dubbed Restored & Remastered, at the Fish Bros.’ Nissan showroom in Fenn Close, Peatmoor, Swindon.
