Glyn Hopkin has appointed Paul Stapylton as chief operating officer five months after joining the company as group operations director.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief operating officer at Glyn Hopkin Group!” he said on LinkedIn.
He also served at Motorline as a franchise director for Nissan and Hyundai and before that as operations director of Toyota and Lexus and operations director for Volkswagen and Skoda.
Glyn Hopkin is ranked 37 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £520.9m.
Glyn Hopkin Group operates over 35 sites across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire, representing brands including Nissan, MG, Kia, Suzuki, Renault, Dacia, & Alpine.
Last year it announced its sale to become an employee ownership trust (EOT).
The group is ranked 35 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £560.6m and profits of £4.1m.
