Four Evans Halshaw Ford dealerships are gearing up to support their local communities through Ford’s national Drive 4 UR Community fundraising initiative.
Evans Halshaw stores in Hull, Darlington, Preston, and Cardiff are taking part in the activation which offers the public the opportunity to test drive the latest Ford models while directly contributing to charitable causes.
For every test drive completed during the event, Ford will donate £30 to a local charity selected by each Evans Halshaw dealership. The stores are aiming to raise up to £6,000 each for their chosen cause:
The Darlington dealership is partnering with Darlington Lions Club Charity, which offers vital support and fundraising for individuals, families, and groups in Darlington.
Preston will raise funds for Cash for Kids Charity, which supports disadvantaged children across the UK.
Cardiff will raise funds for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity, which funds equipment, support, and child-friendly care to improve hospital experiences for children.
And Hull was supporting Chasing Rainbows Charity which supports people through pregnancy and baby loss.
Adam Fletcher, group vice president of Evans Halshaw Ford, said: “We believe our responsibility goes beyond providing great vehicles it’s about making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
“The Drive 4 UR Community initiative is a fantastic reflection of that commitment, and I couldn’t be prouder of our Evans Halshaw associates in Hull, Darlington, Preston, and Cardiff for leading the way and supporting such meaningful local causes.”
This month’s campaign follows a successful first wave of Drive 4 Ur Community fundraising test drives by Evans Halshaw Ford this summer, which successfully raised over £7,500 for three charities.
