Bentley is pushing ahead with plans to have all 235 dealers globally Carbon Neutral by 2025. Its UK, Europe, Middle East, China, Africa and India dealer networks are already carbon neutral, according to the just published annual Sustainability Report.

The report highlights three UK dealer success in 2023 delivered by Cambria Automobiles and Sytner.

The UK Sustainable Retailer of the Year for 2023 was Bentley Tunbridge Wells which is run by Cambria Automobiles under its Grange banner.

It invested in a 284-panel solar installation, which saw the site generate an annual yield of up to 111,000 kWh, enabling the retailer to offset 25 tonnes of CO2 per year.

The Sytner run Manchester business replaced plastic milk bottles with glass ones after over 4,000 cartons were used in 2022.

In Leicester, all Sytner staff members were given Bentley branded flasks and bottles to reduce the amount of single use plastic and takeaway cups colleagues were using.

Bentley Motors is targeting end-to-end carbon neutrality by the end of the decade.

The report throws the spotlight on the initiatives and programmes that support more than 4,000 colleagues working at the carbon neutral factory in Crewe, where all Bentley models are built.
