Brindley Group has launched its first Xpeng dealership in the UK in Wolverhampton. The business is located at its flagship multi-franchise site on Stafford Road, Wolverhampton.
Brindley Group now represents 10 car brands across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, including Xpeng, Omoda, Jaecoo, Hyundai, Kia, MG, Volvo, Mazda, Maxus, and Honda.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Xpeng and to introduce this exciting brand to our customers in the Midlands,” said Brindley Group chairman Che Watson.
“As electric vehicles continue to reshape the automotive landscape, Xpeng’s arrival in the UK is perfectly timed. We’re proud to be at the forefront of this movement and to bring something truly innovative to the local market.”
Brindley said the launch reinforced its commitment to providing choice of vehicle brands for its customers.
Xpeng aims to have 20 dealerships in the UK by year-end. The company has teamed up with distributor International Motors to drive UK sales.
The first car to come to the UK is the all-electric mid-size SUV Xpeng G6, with prices starting at £39,990.
Xpeng kicked off its European expansion entering Norway in 2021 and then expanded into Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and now the UK.
