BCA is rolling out ultra-high-definition (UHD) imaging across its online sales program.

Powered by AutosOnShow, a Constellation Automotive Group company, the 4K imaging technology uses fixed cameras and background replacement to deliver consistent, high-quality visuals at speed.

These unbranded, retail-ready images are suitable for dealer websites and online listings and will enable buyers to reduce the time it takes to market their purchases.

BCA is aiming to increase the number of UHD images per vehicle, giving buyers even more visual insight to drive confidence in the bidding process.

Post-purchase, customers can kickstart their retail marketing before the vehicle arrives by downloading the high-resolution images via BCA’s Image Downloads service within the MyBCA dashboard, where users can also manage purchases and payments along with arranging Click & Collect or delivery.

Stuart Pearson, BCA COO, said: “This upgrade to UHD imaging is another step forwards in enhancing the used vehicle buying experience through BCA’s online channels.

“It will provide our customers with more detailed views of the vehicles they’re interested in, as well as utilising the imagery to market purchases faster and more effectively, driving interest and accelerating their retail sales.

“This milestone further supports BCA’s commitment to digital innovation, giving customers the tools to act faster, market smarter, and sell sooner.”
