Gareth Crooks, assistant parts manager at Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds, has been named a finalist in Jaguar Land Rover’s Retailer Colleague of the Year 2025 awards.
The awards celebrate colleagues who consistently go above and beyond in delivering customer service, technical excellence, and team collaboration.
Crooks said: “It’s a huge honour to have been shortlisted for this award. I’ve always tried to do the job properly and support the team around me, so to be recognised like this is a fantastic feeling.”
He will now take part in the final stage of the competition, held over two days in November. This will include a practical challenge to put his skills to the test in the workshop at the JLR Academy.
The winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony.
Located on Sheepscar Way, the dealership invests heavily in the continuous professional development of its colleagues.
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, added: “Gareth’s nomination reflects the strength of our Leeds operation and the calibre of people within it.
“He’s someone who quietly gets on with the job and delivers consistently, which is exactly what these awards are about – recognising those who represent Jaguar Land Rover, as well as Vertu, to the highest standards.”
