Alan Day Motor held a launch event to unveil the BYD Sealion 7, positioned as a premium mid-size SUV.
The launch event also marked the announcement of a new ambassador partnership between BYD and England Rugby stars Ben Earl, Chandler Cunningham-South, and rising talent Fin Smith.
Alan Day Motor Group CEO Paul Tanner, said: “The Sealion 7 is just the beginning. As we expand into Europe and beyond, BYD is set to become a major player in the EV landscape.
“With over 200 cars being sold just last month in our New Southgate showroom, it showcases BYD’s commitment to innovation and providing eco-friendly vehicles alongside combining cutting edge technology and the demand for it in the UK”
The event included a Q&A session with the players, hosted by rugby great Chris Ashton.
Tanner added: “Ben, Chandler, and Fin reflect the energy, ambition, and innovation that define BYD. With their support, and exciting products like the Sealion 7, we’re proud to be at the forefront of the EV revolution.”
Alongside the England Rugby stars, Alan Day Motor Group has formed partnerships with a variety of stars across sports and entertainment including England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Lewis Hamilton’s father Anthony, England Cricketer Darren Gough and singer Beverley Knight.
